The pedagogical aims for Class 8 are
  1. To foster a sense of connectedness to the world. 

  2. To polish skills for learning.  

  3. To develop social skills more consciously. 

  4. To re-discover notions of beauty and goodness in light of one’s own responses to the world. 

  5. To support the individual’s developing sense of uniqueness. 

  6. To encourage courage. 

  7. To promote active searches for meaningful role-models or people who are worth emulating. 

  8. To stimulate personal goal setting and a sense of responsibility for oneself.

The pedagogical aims for Class 9 are
  1. To awaken to the polarities of subject knowledge through both heart and will. 

  2. To develop the reasoning power of the student. 

  3. To show how causes, issues, “facts”, phenomena, opinions, etc. can pull in two directions, have two sides. 

  4. To work with accurate observation, objectivity and detail. 

  5. To bring claims of rights and responsibilities to consciousness. 

  6. To foster tolerance and social engagement. 

  7. To build inner courage and perseverance. 

  8. To bring idealism to the fore, to push ideas to the limit. 

  9. To work with the hands and soil. 

  10. To work with the discovery of assertion and a sense of place in the world.

  2. To bring more consciously the aesthetic sense.

  5. To overcome selfishness, develop compassion, have ready hearts. 

  6. To bring the rhythmic system/emotions into harmony. 

  7. To recognise relationships between the inner and outer worlds. 

  8. To foster awareness of one’s own actions. 

  9. To broaden the powers of perception.

  1. To develop and guide capacities for critical thinking. 

  2. To develop a reflective questioning attitude to the world of phenomena and opinions. 

  3. To develop an understanding of the individual in relation to the community. 

  4. To craft personal opinion with awareness, reasoning and reflection. 

  5. To retain an attitude of reverence for life in all its manifestations. 

  6. To be given time to reflect on philosophical issues as they arise in relation to their studies. 

  7. To develop a personal sense of aesthetics and style. 

  8.  To develop an awareness of the internal processes of phenomena. 

  9.  To encourage free and healthy individualization. 

  10.  To explore the meaning of destiny: what have I got to offer the world?

  5. To have well-developed moral, ethical and personal standards. 

  6. To make visible and refine their areas of strengths. 

  7. To find appropriate ways of dealing with their areas of weaknesses. 

  8. To be able to stand by the fruits of their creation/productivity. 

  9. To foster a sense of one’s potential to make a difference.
