Steiner Waldorf Education

Curriculum

This curriculum has been developed by SEANZ ( Steiner Education Aotearoa New Zealand) and the Fellowship (all Steiner-Waldorf Principals who belong to SEANZ) to augment the national New Zealand Curriculum and provide a framework to support teachers and curriculum leaders with the implementation and development of Special Character in the pedagogy and curriculum.

 

While each school remains autonomous it is a condition of membership with SEANZ that any school calling itself a Steiner Waldorf school will use this documentation in the shaping of their local curriculum.

In developing the curricula and guides here it is essential for us to acknowledge the work and expertise of those who have gone before  and the significant contributions they have made to independently provide a structure for their individual schools where there was none previously available. Without them this ongoing development would not have been possible.
